Is the price I see the price I'll pay?

We guarantee there are no hidden extras in the quotes provided on our website. All registered solicitors are contractually obliged to provide transparent and guaranteed quotes to our clients.

Does this quote include a "no completion no fee" guarantee?

Yes, all of the quotes provided carry a no completion no fee guarantee. If your transaction does not complete you will not be charged any professional fees from the solicitor.

However, any disbursements such as searches or items paid out to third parties which have been accrued up to the point of cancellation would be chargeable.

Is this the solicitor's best price?

How do I know the solicitor provides a 1st class service?

Shouldn't I use the solicitor recommended by my estate agent?

Your estate agent will likely have a referral scheme with a local solicitors firm that they receive commission from. They may tell you that you have to use this firm to complete your transaction. This is not true, and all of our registered firms are highly skilled experts in dealing with clients via the phone, internet and post.

Most firms have adopted an online portal, email and postal process so you do not need to use a firm that is local to you so you can get the best deal.

Why can't I instruct from my saved quote?

If you are trying to instruct a firm from a quote produced more than seven days ago, you will need to get a requote and instruct the solicitor from that.

How do I contact my solicitor?

Once you have placed your instruction you will receive an email from the firm confirming all of the relevant information including contact details. 

How do I provide my identification?

All solicitors action an Electronic ID check for all cases. They will send you a link to upload these documents along with a list of acceptable ID to provide. The checks carried out by solicitors are more in-depth and are usually safe-harbour compliant, meaning they comply with the governments Good Practice Guide (GPG45) and use biometric security measures for your peace of mind.
